WCHOF Music Series: The Brahms Viola Sonatas - SOLD OUT

Experience the powerful Romanticism of Brahms' mature masterpieces, presented by WCHOF Music Director Brian Woods with special guests Michael Casimir and Stephanie Childress. Originally written for clarinet and piano, these two powerful sonatas were arranged for viola by the composer and have become a staple of the string repertoire. Filled with captivating drama and tender melodies, this will be an unforgettable evening of music!

Concert pianist Brian Woods is one of the World Chess Hall of Fame's new music directors, bringing his experience on the international stage home to Saint Louis for this special event. He is joined by Michael Casimir, St. Louis Symphony violist and member of the 442s, and Stephanie Childress, assistant conductor for the St. Louis Symphony and Music Director for the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. Stephanie is pleased to be making her World Chess Hall of Fame debut.
